Dev Diary

Hi all,

First, I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read this.  I really wanted you to know how much we, here at Prideful Sloth, appreciate it.
I thought it'd be nice to start including small dev updates - so you can keep up with the progress of the project.
Right now it's super exciting times!  We are just putting the finishing touches on the PlayStation build right now.  Because we are doing a physical release we have to get it manufactured, packaged up, and into the distribution channels so that we can get it into your local store for July 18th.
Once we've got PS4 in order, we'll finalise the PC build. Because we’re launching digitally on PC, we have more time to continue to polish it up and do some thorough compatibility testing.  So we hope to have a better idea of minimum specs in the next few weeks.
At Prideful Sloth we’re a bunch of perfectionists, and we want to make sure that you get the most polished experience possible when you play Yonder.  So from day one we’ll be watching the forums, and reading your feedback so we can continue to improve the game and iron out any kinks we might have missed.
The last thing I wanted to write about.
This is just unbelievable to us.
I cannot believe in 6 weeks (or just under, depending on your location) Yonder will be in your hands and on your screens. It feels like such a short time ago, at PlayStation Experience last December, we were just announcing the game and saying 'next year'. Yet here we are, 6 months later, with only 6 weeks left till we release the game.
I believe I speak for everyone on the team when I say this maybe the most exciting and scary thing in our lives.  If only there was an emoji out there that covered these emotions all at once.
Over the next 6 weeks we'd love your help too. We'd love for you to spread the word about Yonder as much as you can.  On social media, with friends and family, where ever you can.  We'd appreciate it!
Anyway. Enough rambling from me!  Just know that we appreciate each and every one of you who've followed us on this journey.
